At Briarcliff Smile Design, our Periodontists provide Non-Surgical Periodontal Treatments for Soft-Tissue and Tooth Preservation.

Soft tissue (gum) inflammation or periodontal conditions (bone loss) require ongoing therapy to lessen the chance of more serious conditions developing.

Soft tissue is what supports and surrounds the teeth and can be seen with the naked eye.  This is Gum. Gum is the cushion between the teeth. The gums must remain healthy to support the teeth. Gums are examined for signs of possible disease. 

Non-surgical Periodontal treatments include deep cleaning-scaling and root planing.  These periodontal treatments are scheduled with a registered dental hygienist and may require one or more recurring appointments.
